       Just to let you know...

I’m not the kind of counsellor who sits quietly nodding and saying “mmhmm” while you spiral.

I don’t wear a beige cardigan and I’m not going to give you scripted responses.

There is also a very good chance that I’ll swear occasionally.

And if you come in with screenshots from your ex texting you at 2am?
Yeah… I do want to see them.

Because this is real life. It’s messy. It’s complicated. It doesn’t follow a script.

And you deserve support that actually meets you in it… not above it.

“Ours is not the task of fixing the entire world at once, but of stretching out to mend the part of the world that is within our reach.” - Clarissa Pinkola Estés

I’ve moved through a lot of the same kinds of experiences that bring people into my sessions. Divorce, parenting a strong-willed ADHD child, supporting a transgender child, navigating complex relationships, and going through seasons of anxiety, depression, and major life shifts.

I don’t bring my story into our sessions, because this space is about you. But I do understand how heavy life can feel, how messy things can get, and how hard it is when you’re trying to find your way through something that doesn’t come with a clear plan… or any plan at all.

I’ve also spent time in the chaos of online dating (which is truly its own experience), and later found myself in a relationship that feels steady, grounded, and real. That contrast alone has taught me that things can change in ways you might not even believe are possible when you’re in the middle of it.

What I hold onto, both personally and professionally, is this. You are not stuck. Even if it feels that way right now. People rebuild. They find clarity. They create something different. Sometimes slowly, sometimes messily… but it happens.

My background includes early childhood development, aging and senior’s care, psychology, counselling, and coaching. I bring a grounded, practical approach to this work, where we get honest about what’s happening and start making sense of it in a way that actually moves you forward.

I work with women, individuals, and couples who are:

  • overwhelmed and carrying too much

  • navigating relationships, dating, and identity

  • moving through major life transitions

  • trying to understand themselves on a deeper level

I also hold affirming space for LGBTQ2S individuals, as well as those in polyamorous or non-traditional relationships, alongside monogamous couples navigating growth, conflict, or separation.

My approach is direct, intuitive, and deeply human.

You can talk.
You can vent.
You can be unsure.
You can be exactly where you are.

We’ll work with that.

This isn’t about fixing you.

It’s about helping you understand what’s actually going on…so you can stop spinning in it and start moving forward in a way that feels real.

On a Personal Note...

When I’m not working, I’m usually creating cozy spaces, tending to my ever-growing plant collection, or building new ideas, workshops, and resources, usually with a strong iced coffee in hand. I love entertaining and a typical Friday night will find myself and my partner cooking for our four adult children as well as our extended family and friends. Community, connection and family (chosen and blood) brings joy into my life as I continue my quest to becoming the best old woman (Crone) I can age into on my journey through this wonderful, beautiful, crazy life.

Let's Be Honest For a Second...

If what you’ve been doing was working…
you wouldn’t be here.

You wouldn’t still be overthinking everything.
You wouldn’t still feel this heavy.
You wouldn’t still be trying to hold it all together on your own.

You can keep coping the way you have been.

Eating junk food to take the edge off.
Crying it out and telling yourself you’ll be fine tomorrow.
Zoning out in front of Netflix just to not feel it for a while.

And for a moment… it helps.

But then you wake up and it’s all still there.

Because this isn’t about needing a break.

It’s about something that actually needs your attention.

At Lola, you don’t have to show up put together.
You don’t have to have the right words.
You don’t even have to know where to start.

You just have to show up for YOU!

We’ll figure the rest out together.

Because staying where you are?

Yeah… that’s not working anymore.
